Second Performance

Following the success of our first event, Do-Re-Mi returned for its second performance — and once again, the power of music brought people together in a meaningful way.

This time, two young musicians volunteered to perform, each bringing their own unique style and repertoire. Thank you Cyndi Zhi and Jiaming Gong for sharing their talents!

The program featured works such as “Impromptu Op. 142 No. 3” - Franz Schubert, “Polonaise in B flat Minor” - Frédéric Chopin, “Nocturne Op. 9 No. 1” - Frédéric Chopin, “Nocturne Op. 72 No. 1” - Frédéric Chopin, “Fantasia in D Minor” - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “June” - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, etc.

For our volunteers, this performance was another chance to gain experience beyond the stage and share music in a way that makes a difference. Both Cyndi and Jiaming told us afterward that they really enjoyed performing and look forward to participating in future events.

Most importantly, this second performance showed that Do-Re-Mi is growing quickly — not only in the number of musicians who want to take part, but also in the impact we’re able to make within senior communities. What started as a single event is already becoming a series of meaningful connections through music.

We’re excited to continue building on this momentum and look forward to bringing even more performances to senior facilities in the near future!
